THE FOOD SOLIDARITY NETWORK CIC

We believe that growing, cooking and sharing good food is key to healthy minds, bodies and communities, and that it should be available to everybody.

THE GOOD FOOD CLUB

We link up growers, farmers and chefs to deliver good food boxes offering meals prepared from local, seasonal ingredients and recipes teaching cookery skills to households in and around Axminster, Seaton, Lyme Regis and Bridport.

We know that food grown and prepared by small-scale farmers and businesses isn’t affordable to all households, so our boxes are available on a sliding scale. This means that we can offer free and subsidised boxes to people who need them, aided by grant funding and the generosity of households paying for the higher tier boxes.

ABOUT US

The Food Solidarity Network Community Interest Company (CIC) was founded by Ash, Kate and Ellen from Trill Farm Garden and Chris, Anna and Mariel from the Old Dairy Kitchen in response to the inequalities in access to good food highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

We want to build a local food culture that encourages and enables everyone to cook healthy meals with local, seasonal produce, and supports our small-scale growers and farmers.

We are very grateful for funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, distributed by the Landworkers’ Alliance, which has allowed us to offer a pilot of the Good Food Club this year. Thanks to National Lottery players for making this possible.
