LOCAL FOOD EDUCATION

We run cookery courses throughout the year. Click here for more information.

In addition to our open courses, Chris is running cooking workshops in cooperation with Rethink Mental Illness and Lyme Forward
These classes offer people the chance to improve their basic kitchen skills, learn more about nutritional, seasonal eating and, of course, enjoy some delicious food, all in the peaceful surroundings of The Old Dairy Kitchen.
Changing lives through food.

PAST PROGRAMS

Chris and the ODK recently ran a ten-week pilot program called Flavour for our Future working with four participants from RISE Recovery and Integration Services. The participants worked helping to prepare the lunches for Trill Farm’s courses and staff, focusing on seasonal, nutritious cooking.
In June 2015 the group cooked for 42 public health workers at an event in Poltimore House.

FFOF was the stepping stone to a new initiative with The Trill Trust called Grow. Cook. Make. Mend., which opened the kitchen door for more people to come, cook and get involved in the ODK events and training. Read more about G.C.M.M. here.
