Old Dairy Feasts take place on the first Friday evening of every month from March to December, and give the kitchen team a chance to showcase the varied and exciting flavours that the farm and local small-scale producers have to offer. The evening starts with some snacks, then moves on to a succession of tasting plates, with some shared by the whole table. With a focus on the irresistible vegetables grown locally, the offering also includes sustainably caught seafood, meat from the Farm, and of course, something sweet to top it all off.


Our next Feast is on Friday the 3rd of May. This month’s Feast features the best of India’s street food, from Kerela to Rajasthan. Harking back to Chris and Anna’s travels, we’ll explore the flavours of this wonderful country and be transported to warmer climes.

Dinner is served at 7pm and costs £35 per person.

A YEAR OF FEASTS

Here’s a look at what you can expect throughout the year:

  • SATURDAY 8 JUNE - Join us at Castlewood Wine Festival for a Feast over Fire in collaboration with Mello View. Tickets are £30 per person and are available to book through Castlewood. Click here.

  • FRIDAY 5 JULY - A Feast in celebration of the Jurassic Coast, featuring fresh local fish and seafood, as well as foraged ingredients; with dishes made using natural cooking techniques and materials sourced from our beautiful shoreline.

  • FRIDAY 2 AUGUST - Coinciding with Trill Farm’s Family Camp, we welcome campers and non-campers alike for some summertime Fire Feasting, featuring snacks, then sharing plates of veggies, fish and meat from the farm cooked over the barbecue. With food to suit the whole family, there will be something sweet to end the evening off right. This month’s feast is £25 for adults and £10 for kids.

  • FRIDAY 6 SEPTEMBER - This month we draw inspiration from Spain, serving an array of tapas alongside some carefully selected Spanish wines. Wine is included with this month’s Feast.

  • FRIDAY 4 OCTOBER - Wild meat is back in season and in combination with foraged Autumn ingredients from the fields and hedgerows, it’s a menu that we look forward to curating every year.

  • FRIDAY 1 NOVEMBER - Northern Italy is our muse this month, featuring wines and the bold flavours from this delicious part of the world. Wine is included in this month’s Feast.

Feast booking policy - We're a small business, so reservations are essential, and require payment in advance. By paying in full you confirm your attendance to the Feast date. Please pay by bank transfer (details supplied at time of booking), but if you can only pay in cash please let us know ahead of time. If you are unable to attend, please contact us no later than 24hrs before the date, so that we can try to fill the spaces. If we are unable to resell the booking, you will be liable for the full cost, as we will have prepared and provided for those numbers. If we change or cancel the date, we will alert you in plenty of time and offer a transfer or refund in full.

New for 2019 - We will be licensed to sell alcohol, so will be offering a drinks menu for our Feasts, Lunches and Events in 2019.
