FEASTS

from 35.00

Feasts give us the chance to exhibit creative dishes, inspired by the season, Farm and environment. There’s so much that goes into curating each event’s tasting menu and we treat each one like a showcase for the bounty of ingredients at our door.

Each Feast has a loose theme, to guide Chris’s flavour combinations and cooking techniques, but with a signature ODK twist.

Old Dairy Feasts take place throughout the year and give Chris a chance to showcase the varied and exciting flavours that the farm and local small-scale producers have to offer. The evening starts with some snacks and a seasonal tipple, then moves on to a succession of tasting plates, with some shared by the whole table. With a focus on the irresistible vegetables grown locally, the offering also includes sustainably caught seafood, meat from the Farm and/or local game suppliers and of course, something sweet to top it all off.

Dinner is served at 7pm.

We are able to cater for any dietary requirements you may have - please let us know when booking.

The following Feast will be on Friday the 9th of November. We’ll be welcoming Trouvaille to the Kitchen for an evening in homage to the French Riots of 1968, with a tasting of natural wines paired with the French inspired menu.

The French riots of 1968 may have passed by in the annals of history but have left a profound and lasting impact on modern food culture. 50 years on spend an evening at the ODK exploring this legacy of peasant foods, anti-corporate, small scale farming and the rebirth of the natural farming practices ignored by post war industrialism.

Experience a tasting menu with paired drinks that explore this legacy in the recent rise of the natural wine movement - drinks produced with minimal intervention, true to the traditions of food cultures with a focus on terroir and farming practices over chemical alteration in production.

Trouvaille Food and Drinks is a new business venture looking towards distribution of low intervention, biodynamic, organic and naturally produced drinks in the South West that also taste great too.

This event costs £45 per person, or £35 without the paired wines.
