We are very lucky to share our doorstep with one of the most incredible market gardens in the South West. Ashley and Kate at Trill Farm Garden grow organic vegetables, salads, herbs and fruit on their land and in their polytunnels year round, and as a fellow Farm enterprise, we both benefit from the rich network based in and around the Farm itself. We live by and share the same philosophies, and our menus are naturally inspired by their harvests. Their produce shapes our Feasts, guides our flavours and lays the foundation for The Old Dairy Kitchen's larder through the seasons.

By popular request, Chris has designed this course to give us the chance to put vegetables in the spotlight and share with you some ODK signature recipes; all meat-free. With technical skills and inspired flavours, this is vegetarian cooking beyond curries and hummus. Covering sauces, terrines and dishes for fully meatless menus, you will leave with a renewed vigour for veg and with new knowledge of how important and special it can be to cook from the garden. At the end of the day, we'll give you a guided tour of Trill Farm Garden and you'll have a bag of fresh veg to take home too.
